a little neighborhood café, dinner at a European style
bistro, or a world-class culinary adventure at a four-star gourmet
restaurant.
The area is a cultural mecca in Canada, offering extraordinary
museums and art galleries within blocks of each other downtown,
symphony at the Orpheum, and touring opera, dance, and live theatre
companies at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

its Omnimax theater and “hands-on exhibits. In Stanley Park,
take a ride through the woods on a small gauge steam train, or
enjoy a tour around the grounds in a horse drawn carriage.
Three local mountains offer skiing within a few minutes of the
downtown core.Kayaking, power boating, sailing, and sightseeing
trips in local waters are all popular activities year round. The
area also offers numerous beautiful, well-kept, and often challenging
golf courses.
